Happy New Year To Me!

I'm 33 years young! And I also drew this! Yay!

Yes.  I can't believe it myself.  I'm 33 years old.  It feels like yesterday I was watching transformers in my PJs and eating super huge bowl of lucky charms. Come to think of it, that was yesterday!  I guess things don't really change huh?

I wanted to send this post to and give thanks to all that have wished me a Happy New Year and also a Happy Birthday too! There are a lot of good people in my life and I couldn't have made it this far without the support that I get from my family.  And also the close friends of mine who have been with me throughout my worse times in my life and also celebrated some of the best moments that I'll never forget. So if whether your at work, on a off day, at home taking care of the little ones, or hanging out with me today, my birthday wish to you would be to make the most of your day, no matter how large or small it may be, enjoy it. I know of one kid that will be. Well, I'm a kid at heart, that's gotta count towards something!   :-P

Happy New Year To Me!

Yup you read this right.  Today is my Birthday.  And I sit back while taking shot after shot of Don Q Rum, thinking about all that I have done in my life.  I have done a lot.  I've been part of history, I've witness history, and most importantly, I've made history.  In case you weren't aware, I've completed a lot in my life.  And most importantly I intend to do more.  This maybe one of the most important years of my life.  Why?  Well, I can't really say why, at least not now.  However, I can assure you that this year will mark a lot of great events in time to come.  On a personal level I feel I'm at the cusp of being completely content knowing that there aren't currently any mature women that I would care to court.  Yeah, you read this right I said court, not date, not "kick it" with, not none of that modern day slang.  See, I'm old school.  I open doors and bring flowers, but I don't do that for just anyone.  So having me say that I would court you would be some serious shit.  Enough of that for now let's talk about the business.  The state of business right now is that I'm gonna be doing some serious shit this year and I hope that the friends that have been there to see me grow into a better human being can be with me the day(s) that these changes take place.  I noticed that my Birthday today fell on Mother's Day this year.  Nice, growing up around this time of the year one gets used to having to share a Birthday with a Holiday as great as Mother's Day.  I love my mom, she has been there for all of my failures, all of my hardships, all my breakdowns and I wouldn't trade her for anything in this world.  I take a lot from my Mother, she has the most giving heart, and is also the most caring person I know.  In my family she is a Saint, someone everyone looks up too, someone who is the center piece in my family.  And I love her for it.  So, this bottle isn't gonna drink itself, gonna finish this and get ready for the festivites later on today....On My Birthday.

Celebrating St. Patricks Day

Hey Peeps!  How are you guys doing?  Yes, it has been a while since I posted, and I'm sorry for that.  I do understand that the less I post, the less people will come to my Blog and give a care to read what's on it.  So, I am committing myself to post a bit more frequently.  I don't wish to succumb to the short quick posts of social media.  I have a lot to say, and hope to get more messages out there.  So let's get this ball rolling huh?

St. Patrick's Day/Best Buds Birthday


Even though St. Patrick's fell on a Thursday this year, I will always find someway to celebrate it.  Not because of the Holiday and how the Irish hold dear to it. In fact I was getting way slizzard over the years on that day because one of my best Buds Birthday is on that day.  My best buddy Brian just recently celebrated his 33rd Birthday and we did in McNally's Irish Pub in St. Charles, IL.  It was a good time we had plenty to drink and it was also a surprise party!  They had a live band there signing the top 40 plus other famous drinking songs.  It was a great time.  Just seeing the look on my buddy's face knowing that I "wasn't gonna make it" made it even more worth while.  My plan was this and this only.  Make sure he doses't pay for anything and get him HULK SMASHED!!! We had many a Irish Car Bombs and Jager Bombs, along with the darkest Irish Ale the Pub could offer.  It was a great time and having him there with the rest of the gang made it way better!

Las Vegas 2010 - Aftermath

I just finished editing a short video of our trip from Vegas. The full production will come in the form of a new BHP ENT-TV Episode. We did lots if drinking, walking and other fun shit. Most won't be told due to the laws of Vegas but you know you can count on me bringing my peeps the fun we had back with us. This will be my final update for the trip. Tomorrow I've got lots of sleep to catch up on while I was out. Much props to my cousin Tommy for taking care of things while I was out, thanks for holding it down for me. Early Start - Las Vegas Part 4

So, I'm sitting on my flight and can't help but feel ready to go celebrate the hell out if our friends Greg's Birthday in the city of sin. The morning was pretty hard to do just because the lack of sleep I put myself through. I'm here with my brother and close friend Drew and we are taking part in our 4th trip to Las Vegas. Even though a lot of fun awaits us when we arrive, the beat part to me is the hours before we reach the destination. I can't wait. We'll be dedicating an episode of B.H.P. It looks like I might be able to go ahead and put together some planning for a possible trip out to Las Vegas in October this year. I'm attempting head out to Las Vegas around Halloween weekend to celebrate my friend Greg's Birthday. I expect it to be a crazy time, lots of fun, and lots drinking involved as well. Oh here we go again! the month of may is full of nothing but budding spring weather, more daylight, and may more options to stay out late at night. This is one of those very reasons. 30's The New 20! People I'm So Hot Still! Welcome To The GOOD LIFE!

Hello to all my peeps out there! 30's the New 20 I'm so hot Still! I sit here tonight putting together this much anticipated photo album of my 30th Birthday Party. I have been getting calls from friends and family asking how it all went and wanting to see the low down in any form of Digital Mega Pixel Glory. Please know that this was also my boy Drew's Birthday as well, as we always celebrate our birthdays together, and I wouldn't have it any other way! So here it is. My night started out with a stretch Limo arriving at my place around 8:30pm while my guys and I get our pre-game drink on. We were sipping on some Bacardi OCHO and Coke on the ride there. We were laying up relaxing on the way to Chicago, getting, wait for it....HULKED SMASHED!!! We arrived at Filthy Libertine around 9:45p.m, where we had bottles of Petron (Johnny Petron Showed Up!), Grey Goose, and Belvi all on ICE waiting for my golden touch to pop'em open and start the Celebration. The crowd was feeling your boy and his crew the whole night through. We had our VIP section full of fine ladies and good friends. The DJ was also on key with the OLD SCHOOL HOUSE requests! Numbers were taken down my phone but there is no guarantee that I will be calling them back. Also the ladies in the club was really feeling us and wanting to take part in the celebration that was unfolding in front of their eyes, all while bottles of bubbly arrived to signify the birthday celebration! P.S. The Next Day I had a massive hangover, and so did my crew. We decided to go to Buffalo Wild Wings to get down on some greasy wings to fight the pounding from the night I can barley remember. Then after the crew split up for the rest of the day, I went on a wild Limo chase to retrieve my cousin Tomas' lost wallet. After about 40 miles and 2 Excedrin later. I met up with my Mom to wish her a Happy Mother's Day and to spend time with my folks. Then, as tired as we were, My brother Joel, Tomas and I decided to BBQ and drink to close the night out. This is it People! The time to fully close out a very large and adventurous chapter in my life is upon us! I have traveled the world, been places foreign to some and crazy to all. If I were to take a simple quick glance at what I was most happy about in my 20’s, this would be the most mentionable that I truly enjoyed and was to be apart of (in no particular order).

• Buying my first place!
• Getting to live to say that I've work with and for my favorite MLB team, The Chicago White Sox and I also got to witness and celebrate the World Series with them! EPIC WIN!
• Getting to live to say that I've work with and for my favorite NFL team, The Chicago BEARS! Another EPIC WIN!
• Hosting the most popular Events with the City Of Chicago from 2004-2008 (Air & Water Show, Jazz Fest, Blues Fest, ¡Viva! Chicago Latin Music Festival, Chicago Auto Show, Puerto Rican Fest Chicago, and the Grand Daddy of them all THE TASTE OF CHICAGO!) I will surely miss doing those skits and interactions with the fans during the summer days.
• 2000 Battle of the Dance Crew Champions - Mass Appeal Chicago - Along with that the many performances that we got paid for when we finally made it, and the gigs that we didn't get paid for, before we made it.
• Becoming a God Father and Uncle many times over! LOL!
• Diving deeper into my family's culture and history on my own accord on the island of Puerto Rico. Learning where you come from is not just important, but essential to understanding your family and yourself better.
• Keeping some very true and strong friendships throughout the tough part of our lives and still have the ability to hang out and enjoy life to it fullest!

Black Wednesday Birthday Party Aftermath

Oh yes my friends, it's was completely and utterly an awesome time on Black Wednesday and a great time was had by all in my group. For starters the Birthday Party went great and everything that I planned for was held up to my word. I couldn't be more happy with how the staff over at Filthy Libertine set everything up. To top it all off the D.J.'s were right on key with the music and the bartenders were also on their A game. I was at the club earlier then normal to make sure everything was set-up right with my friend Terrell, and once things were accounted for, we started to get our Holiday consumption of Alcohol on a hefty jump start. The rest of my guys met up later on in the night to complete the awesome time of kicking back and relaxing, enjoying life and also the music as well. Just like pretty much every other night spot in Chicago on the eve of Thanksgiving, it was completely packed and at the limit of capacity. As you can tell by some of the images posted, it was a real intense time of debauchery commencing. The club actually ended sooner in the night for some odd reason, but it didn't stop our after-set cravings for some more fun. We ended up heading out to Mannequin Night Club and finished off our night out downtown into the early hours of Thanksgiving morning. Now what's next? Well, I guess I'll start off with finishing off my year on a good side and get my 2009 rolling with success from the get go. So, time to start some rough drafts of New Years' Plans, and then focus on the challenges and goals in my focus for 2009. It's A Celebration B-tches! Another Weekend Of The Good Life!

Ahh...Here we go again. I have to say that for a month that has been full of mostly cold weather and Costume Parties, it has been awesome as all hell. My weekend started Friday night with a costume party in Melrose Park that ended in a slippery yet funny brawl between a couple of guys, which then spawned about 3 other brawls at the same time. The drinks we good and atmosphere was alright, I did get the feeling that there were to many people trying to pull of the Socialite profile there, but failed. I went at the request of on of my friends Stephanie (in the White Sox gear) and since I haven't hanged out with her in a bit figured it would be good to for a change of pace. Saturday night comes with a multitude of debochary in the form of me making my way to 2 VIP parties. One was for a co-worker of mine whom promotes at a hot spot lounge call Filthy Libertine on Clyborne in Chicago. She was having her Birthday Party and the bottles were poppin' like a glock in a West Coast Rap Video. The second party was for another friend of mine whom graduated from DeVry University, by luck they were both being hosted at the same establishment so it meant good use of my drive time ( 0 miles ) between both spots. Again I'm getting my glass in a never ending flow of Barcardi Rum with Coke and Vodka Screwdrivers. Me and one of my best friends ended the night into Greek town to enjoy some 24 greasy spoon resturant to top off the nights enjoyment. Today (Sunday) was more on a normal scale as far as relaxing goes, nothing better then a lazy sunday watching the Chicago BEARS, even though they didn't pull off a win, and having some close friend close out thier weekend day along with you at Buffalo Wild Wings ( B-Dubs ). Nice flavorful wings with some beer and crazy coversation make up a successful wrap-up of a good weekend had by all. All I can say is what better way to start off the planning for the makings of a great time in St. Louis? Road Trip here I come!
