Things Happen For What They Must...

Time passes by, and things change. We grow older, learn from our regrets, and try to catch up with the sands of time. We try to live a better life and make decisions that reflect what we've learned durning our hard times.

No matter how awesome a situation was, relationship you had, or choice that had to be made. Remember, you made them because you felt it was better for you. Now is not the time to regret the path you took that put you where you are today.

Now is the time to atone for the decisions you've made and make sure they happened to you for a reason. Whether you make it a good reason or not depends on your character.

Make the moves that count and try to put yourself back in the spotlight of your choosing.

Just remember, if you're content and happy, don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise. Live your life your way and enjoy what sands of time you have left.

Lessons Learned

How does one really start a post about learning something that they've learned a while ago? Being out here away from my busy life back home has given me some time to force on focusing on myself. It has been really good so far.

A Message For Those Dependent For A Valentine

So here you are.  Your alone on Valentine's Day with nothing better to do then feel like a super lame EMO kid who is one bad rock song away from slitting their wrists.  Well, my advice to you?  Grow the Hell up.  Sorry I couldn't really keep that back but I have to be honest with you.  I've come across so many people who feel "Dependent" on hoping or wishing for a Valentine's sweetie to sweep them off their feet and make them feel like a little angel or expect them to buy this super expensive gift or whatnot.  Seriously, just look at this situation your putting yourself through.  Setting expectations for someone who probably doesn't even know you or know you exist.  Now I know what your thinking, "Damn, Saúl is being a jerk right now, he must really hate Valentine's Day."  What I would say to you is that your assumption couldn't be far from accurate about my view on Valentine's Day.  I literary enjoy that day completely.  Being the attractive and superb bachelor that I am, it's so sad when I come across females that I might be interested in at this time of year, and they "break down" when they are single during this time of the year. They feel like their world is gonna end or that it's more like "Single Awareness Day" then anything else.  Truth be told, your life is what you make of it.  If you are currently mad at me while reading this post then you maybe one of the many who feel that they "Need" to be with someone so that they can be happy.  Spend the day with your family if it bothers you that much.  Hang out with friends if you feel the need to be around people other then your family.  Again, my apologies if I've offended you but the reality is you need to take a step back and appreciate yourself for who YOU ARE before you can make the next step of receiving that appreciation from someone else.  The equivalent is that one girl in your group of friends that need to have the most attention or material possessions just to feel better about themselves, aka Gold Diggers.  And in case you are wondering, I do have an awesome day planned for Valentine's thanks for asking.  In the meantime in between time, keep your eyes here for new posts.

Midnight Thoughts: Emotional Wanderings

Normally I would post up my next chapter in Heart Carvings, which I will really soon. However I thought I would take the time to put out some good thoughts to keep the mind wandering.

Las Vegas 2010 - Aftermath

I just finished editing a short video of our trip from Vegas. The full production will come in the form of a new BHP ENT-TV Episode. We did lots if drinking, walking and other fun shit. Most won't be told due to the laws of Vegas but you know you can count on me bringing my peeps the fun we had back with us. This will be my final update for the trip. Tomorrow I've got lots of sleep to catch up on while I was out. Much props to my cousin Tommy for taking care of things while I was out, thanks for holding it down for me. B.H.P. Episode #2 "First Date Texting" Collaboration with razor2778 (Jimmy Wright)

Here is my second installment of B.H.P. ENT-TV (B.H.P. Entertainment TV).  I guess appear on razor2778's rants about going on a first date with a girl and text messaging.  My friend Jimmy (aka razor2778) has been getting a little buzz among some of his friends and followers with his rants.  I must admit, it's a good angle to run with and I couldn't help but lay a hand shedding a little light on the subject from my point of view.  This looks like the beginning of something good.  God Bless!  

Ladies, Take Notice - Thoughts From My Morning Cup Of Coffee

My Friday Message for the Ladies: Thin is not always in.  Ladies quote Marilyn Monroe as a sassy, real down to earth girl, who catches the hearts of men, and at the same time keeps it real.  She is definetly one of the only women I know of that had actual "Lady Swagger".  To influence women of today with her quotes and overall attitude about how to live life.  But the thing that escapes me most is that no one really talks about her being a bigger or "Full Figured" woman.  Women mention her as insirpation but only becuase of her status.  When I respect her more because regardless of her looks, she was a REAL woman.  Take a look at the photo I posted of her in her prime and think about today's standards, would she live up to the "standards of beauty" society puts in our face today?  It amazes me how this is never really a topic of discussion between women but my guys talk about it all the time.  Which comes to my point, it's not about your looks ALL the time, it's about how you carry yourself as person, more importantly and how you express your personality no matter how you may differ, whether it be physical or personality.  So, in conclusion, you will find me in 2010 making it a clear point to enjoy the real "Ladies with Swag" and living the night to the fullest.  Now, I will always enjoy the sight of beautiful woman, but nothing compares to a beautiful mind that compliments that body!

Oh here we go again! the month of may is full of nothing but budding spring weather, more daylight, and may more options to stay out late at night. This is one of those very reasons. 30's The New 20! People I'm So Hot Still! Welcome To The GOOD LIFE!

Hello to all my peeps out there! 30's the New 20 I'm so hot Still! I sit here tonight putting together this much anticipated photo album of my 30th Birthday Party. I have been getting calls from friends and family asking how it all went and wanting to see the low down in any form of Digital Mega Pixel Glory. Please know that this was also my boy Drew's Birthday as well, as we always celebrate our birthdays together, and I wouldn't have it any other way! So here it is. My night started out with a stretch Limo arriving at my place around 8:30pm while my guys and I get our pre-game drink on. We were sipping on some Bacardi OCHO and Coke on the ride there. We were laying up relaxing on the way to Chicago, getting, wait for it....HULKED SMASHED!!! We arrived at Filthy Libertine around 9:45p.m, where we had bottles of Petron (Johnny Petron Showed Up!), Grey Goose, and Belvi all on ICE waiting for my golden touch to pop'em open and start the Celebration. The crowd was feeling your boy and his crew the whole night through. We had our VIP section full of fine ladies and good friends. The DJ was also on key with the OLD SCHOOL HOUSE requests! Numbers were taken down my phone but there is no guarantee that I will be calling them back. Also the ladies in the club was really feeling us and wanting to take part in the celebration that was unfolding in front of their eyes, all while bottles of bubbly arrived to signify the birthday celebration! P.S. The Next Day I had a massive hangover, and so did my crew. We decided to go to Buffalo Wild Wings to get down on some greasy wings to fight the pounding from the night I can barley remember. Then after the crew split up for the rest of the day, I went on a wild Limo chase to retrieve my cousin Tomas' lost wallet. After about 40 miles and 2 Excedrin later. I met up with my Mom to wish her a Happy Mother's Day and to spend time with my folks. Then, as tired as we were, My brother Joel, Tomas and I decided to BBQ and drink to close the night out. This is it People! The time to fully close out a very large and adventurous chapter in my life is upon us! I have traveled the world, been places foreign to some and crazy to all. If I were to take a simple quick glance at what I was most happy about in my 20’s, this would be the most mentionable that I truly enjoyed and was to be apart of (in no particular order).

• Buying my first place!
• Getting to live to say that I've work with and for my favorite MLB team, The Chicago White Sox and I also got to witness and celebrate the World Series with them! EPIC WIN!
• Getting to live to say that I've work with and for my favorite NFL team, The Chicago BEARS! Another EPIC WIN!
• Hosting the most popular Events with the City Of Chicago from 2004-2008 (Air & Water Show, Jazz Fest, Blues Fest, ¡Viva! Chicago Latin Music Festival, Chicago Auto Show, Puerto Rican Fest Chicago, and the Grand Daddy of them all THE TASTE OF CHICAGO!) I will surely miss doing those skits and interactions with the fans during the summer days.
• 2000 Battle of the Dance Crew Champions - Mass Appeal Chicago - Along with that the many performances that we got paid for when we finally made it, and the gigs that we didn't get paid for, before we made it.
• Becoming a God Father and Uncle many times over! LOL!
• Diving deeper into my family's culture and history on my own accord on the island of Puerto Rico. Learning where you come from is not just important, but essential to understanding your family and yourself better.
• Keeping some very true and strong friendships throughout the tough part of our lives and still have the ability to hang out and enjoy life to it fullest!

I'm Back From Vegas, And Boy Oh Boy, I'm Totally Destroyed!

I can honestly say that this was one of the best times I've had our here in the City of Sin, and it was during the beginning of the week! What the Las Vegas Strip lacked in the normal hot spots not being open for the begging of the week, it made up for in the bars and other local hot spots that stayed open. For the most part I have to most definitely respect the rule of Vegas, what happens here will stay here. However, to keep the juicy parts of my story locked away forever, I must admit the crazy parts that made my trip one of the best yet. In a matter of about 72 Hours I manage to completely get HULK SMASHED! On that matter alone I drank more that I thought I could, and then had one of the most twisted and crazy nights that have crossed my way in a while. I manage to sneak into Studio 54 and slip past though security, that was also a massive FTW! I also got to check out all the hot spots, dope hotels and social bars surrounding the Vegas strip. Drank a guitar full of alcohol, ended up across town with my crew scattered all over the Vegas strip, and fired off some clips from a couple of Guns. On a lighter note I've come to realize that I really do love Vegas, it really sticks with me. All the fun one can do during the day EQUALS the amount of trouble and debauchery one can get into during the nights. Putting Plans Into Motion - City Of Sin, Here I Come!

So the election is over, history has been made, and now it's time for America to pick itself up and start to figure out how to get it's wallet fat again. In fact we all need to start that process, and help this economy back on its feet again. I'm on the verge of flying out to Las Vegas and attend a night of some awesome debauchery. It will be a small weekend type trip and I fully intend on getting a lot of R&R and will definitely make sure the drinks keep chilled and keep coming. I've been to Vegas before and I've had the most craziest time there, just the simple fact that it's a meeting place of people from all different types of cultures and types all wanting the same thing...TO GET HULK SMASHED!!! I will go on a long date with lady luck and hopefully score on the velvet tables of chance and keep the dice rolling hot with 7's. Just like my last trip I will definely make the most of it and chronicle the parts that Vegas will let me, because we all know...
