B.H.P. ENT-TV® On Location: Noose Productions Wants You "Loungin' Out" July 16th!

I will be heading out with B.H.P. ENT-TV® to check out the Noose Productions, "Loungin' Out" Show in West Chicago, IL.  We are embracing our taste for some good underground Hip-Hop Culture and great showman from the Performances held by this Noose Productions Event.  I will be giving a review the event and also capturing some photos and video as well.  Be on the look out for a new upcoming episode. It's A White Sox Sunday!

What a great day today was!








That's exactly what I thought as I left U.S. Cellular Field® this afternoon. Today was the first actual day where it was actually spring! You never know what kind of weather your getting over here in Chicago, however today was one of the hottest and we got tons of Sun. Most of gang came out to enjoy the game as well. The Sox put the hurt on Tampa today and closed the game out 6-1. Among the relaxing 70º weather, there was plenty of fans out today showing support for their sluggers! Las Vegas 2010 - Aftermath

I just finished editing a short video of our trip from Vegas. The full production will come in the form of a new BHP ENT-TV Episode. We did lots if drinking, walking and other fun shit. Most won't be told due to the laws of Vegas but you know you can count on me bringing my peeps the fun we had back with us. This will be my final update for the trip. Tomorrow I've got lots of sleep to catch up on while I was out. Much props to my cousin Tommy for taking care of things while I was out, thanks for holding it down for me. Early Start - Las Vegas Part 4

So, I'm sitting on my flight and can't help but feel ready to go celebrate the hell out if our friends Greg's Birthday in the city of sin. The morning was pretty hard to do just because the lack of sleep I put myself through. I'm here with my brother and close friend Drew and we are taking part in our 4th trip to Las Vegas. Even though a lot of fun awaits us when we arrive, the beat part to me is the hours before we reach the destination. I can't wait. We'll be dedicating an episode of B.H.P. It looks like I might be able to go ahead and put together some planning for a possible trip out to Las Vegas in October this year. I'm attempting head out to Las Vegas around Halloween weekend to celebrate my friend Greg's Birthday. I expect it to be a crazy time, lots of fun, and lots drinking involved as well. Nothing is for sure though. I'll keep you posted as the months go on. God Bless and take care!

Black Friday 2009: People as a Collective are Stupid and They Don't Realize how to be a smart shopper. (Random thoughts from someone behind the counter.)

Nice video huh?  This was taken form a Wal-Mart Employee who is clearly making a great point.  PEOPLE ARE STUPID.  You throw something like 40" HDTV that normally costs $1,000 and cut it by $200, and people are willing to punch kick and throw like we are all primates throwing our feces at each other for walking in on our stake to claim.  Now I'm clearly a fan of saving a dollar or two, in fact I have attended a Black Friday door buster special before, and from that experience needed to be reminded how things run on the other side of the fence.  That means behind the sales counter, now for professional reasons I will not mention the location, name of business, and people involved, but for those of you who know me, that should be easy to figure out.  Anyways, our business was offering a really affordable special for electronic equipment and in this special we ran it for a limited time, to be close to exact, it was for 3 days.  This was to be very competitive for business selling similar equipment during Black Friday.  We sent out mailers across the country and also advertised on TV and also during Thanksgiving from our website.  So now that the picture is painted here are some of the grips that have caused me to write this post.  Please feel free to be offended if you are one of the following;

• The-Know-It-All:  The Shopper that knows everything and makes the purchase interaction easy, this is exactly what every Black Friday Shopper needs to be.  Read about the deals, call ahead of time if you can, and do RESEARCH!  (We definitely can help but at the same time it works when we work with shoppers that know how to shop, make sense?  This makes it easier for you and the person who is helping you.  Not only will be maximize your time, but also be productive as well.) 
• The-I-Think-I-Know-It-All:  This Shopper knows all the info about the deals and specials but at the same time, needs and seeks confirmation from you and when you make your attempt to help them understand they reply back with "I knew that already." (Really?  If you knew that you needed to have a commitment to get a discount, then why are you asking me for the 4th time what the length of the commitment is and why you need to sign it?  You my fellow human, are STUPID.)
• The-Under-estimator:   This shopper thinks things will work out in favor of their daily agenda, and then get hit with the reality that stores actually get busy on Black Friday.  They call everyone under the sun to complain because they thought they had their life under control.   (Looks like you'll have to put off picking up the dry cleaning today and call your spouse to pick the kids up from grandma's.  Either that or you'll miss out on this deal.  Stores get busy my friend, please remember that next time you try to breed so that your offspring may remember that, um actually on second thought, don't breed, you'll do the human race better that way.)
• The-Whiner:   Upset with the reality that they have to wait in line and try complaining, hoping it will make them move forward in the line faster.  When in reality, it just makes things worse, you either get other people to join in or they end up starting an argument with other shoppers or even the employees.  (Listen to me clearly please, you are not the only person in the world and there is such a thing as call before hand or do your shopping research before hand.  Better yet, maybe you should of had your spouse help you out with the shopping errands to you could prepare to embrace any possible lines that may form at your list of stores.  Now stick your head in the over and go to sleep!)
• The-Business-Consultant:  This shopper is the one that may get your stress levels pumping, but to be honest with this, everyone acts like this at sometime in their life, the only difference is that they feel free speaking their mind at a time where it doesn't matter or it's too late to even care or address the issue. "I wish you people had more on staff to help everyone faster, that's what you guys need to do here, you guys should just hire someone to help answer my questions while I wait." Answer back, "Well we have the whole store staff here today, working right now."  Shopper reply's back, "Well I don't care you guys need to do this, I feel like my time is wasted!"  Answer back, "Sorry to hear that sir, but unfortunately we don't have that luxury of more staff here, you can come back another day if you like."  Shopper consults back "No, if I did then I'll miss the deal, I don't want to do that."  Answer back, "Well, then it looks like you need to wait till we get to you then."  (Oh My Lord!  What a complete jack-off!  Really?  Are you serious?  We need to hire more people just because your waiting in line?  How about you call before hand or actually know how to shop or be a savvy shopper and show up early like the first 40 people before you.  And I just remembered your face, I like that fact that you act in front of strangers that you have good business acumen, when in reality, your the same guy that pumps my gas for me after I get out of a long day of making money.  If all you idiots knew this was gonna be a good bargain, then why the hell you treat it like a normal shopping errand?  You my fellow human, need to gouge out your eyes because you don't deserve to see the light of the next day!) 

So in conclusion my fellow peeps, please do your research and ask questions about hours of operation, time-lines for deals, requirements (if any) to qualify, and also understand you are not the ONLY person in the world who will be going to the same place, around the same time, for the same thing, ESPECIALLY ON BLACK FRIDAY!!!

BHPTV: Latest Episode - Police Arrest Drunks At GlenFail Heights Festival

What's better then going to a free entry festival with a beer tent, DJ, and live rock show? Well, if you add in drunk people who don't care for self composure and police itching for an arrest to keep the peace, you get a unique arrest taking place in the middle of a crowd watching 7th Heaven (Local Rock Band) performing all the drunk classics! This happened during the Glendale Heights Festival where apparently the city has turned 50. I was invited by a buddy of mine to attend a BBQ to close out my Sunday evening. We then decided to walk down to the festival to enjoy some more drinking and also the fireworks show. The fireworks show happened this Sunday due to some issue or mis-scheduling of not having fireworks on the 4th of July in Glendale Heights. So here I am enjoying the good music from 7th Heaven and BAM! All of a sudden this drunk guy with his extra drunk girlfriend/wife start walking through and I guess seemed to be pushing people into a mosh pit frenzy. This couple was well into their late 40's-early 50's. How everything unloaded within a second was really hard to tell, all I can say is that I just happened to be right behind the action and decided to get it all on video for later review. The part that gets me the most is that there are still people partying and dancing like nothing strange is happening. What if this guy had a gun? What if this was more extreme then it was? Now, because I knew what was going on I felt safe staying and recording the arrest. However, I know better then to stay whenever there is a crowd of people and police show up. My reasoning behind this is all the events I have done with the City Of Chicago and seeing people in this situation and it usually involves someone getting stabbed or shot, and I've learned to always make like a tree and leave. Oh here we go again! the month of may is full of nothing but budding spring weather, more daylight, and may more options to stay out late at night. This is one of those very reasons. As a follow up to my Big Birthday Blowout, My good friend and fellow BHP board member Terrell, is having his Birthday this coming Memorial Day weekend. Yes indeed, we will be starting the festivities in the Northside of Chicago and take the Party from one PUB to the other, where we stop no one knows! 30's The New 20! People I'm So Hot Still! Welcome To The GOOD LIFE!

Hello to all my peeps out there! 30's the New 20 I'm so hot Still! I sit here tonight putting together this much anticipated photo album of my 30th Birthday Party. I have been getting calls from friends and family asking how it all went and wanting to see the low down in any form of Digital Mega Pixel Glory. Please know that this was also my boy Drew's Birthday as well, as we always celebrate our birthdays together, and I wouldn't have it any other way! So here it is. My night started out with a stretch Limo arriving at my place around 8:30pm while my guys and I get our pre-game drink on. We were sipping on some Bacardi OCHO and Coke on the ride there. We were laying up relaxing on the way to Chicago, getting, wait for it....HULKED SMASHED!!! We arrived at Filthy Libertine around 9:45p.m, where we had bottles of Petron (Johnny Petron Showed Up!), Grey Goose, and Belvi all on ICE waiting for my golden touch to pop'em open and start the Celebration. The crowd was feeling your boy and his crew the whole night through. We had our VIP section full of fine ladies and good friends. The DJ was also on key with the OLD SCHOOL HOUSE requests! Numbers were taken down my phone but there is no guarantee that I will be calling them back. Also the ladies in the club was really feeling us and wanting to take part in the celebration that was unfolding in front of their eyes, all while bottles of bubbly arrived to signify the birthday celebration! P.S. The Next Day I had a massive hangover, and so did my crew. We decided to go to Buffalo Wild Wings to get down on some greasy wings to fight the pounding from the night I can barley remember. Then after the crew split up for the rest of the day, I went on a wild Limo chase to retrieve my cousin Tomas' lost wallet. After about 40 miles and 2 Excedrin later. I met up with my Mom to wish her a Happy Mother's Day and to spend time with my folks. Then, as tired as we were, My brother Joel, Tomas and I decided to BBQ and drink to close the night out. It's A Celebration B-tches! Another Weekend Of The Good Life!

Ahh...Here we go again. I have to say that for a month that has been full of mostly cold weather and Costume Parties, it has been awesome as all hell. My weekend started Friday night with a costume party in Melrose Park that ended in a slippery yet funny brawl between a couple of guys, which then spawned about 3 other brawls at the same time. The drinks we good and atmosphere was alright, I did get the feeling that there were to many people trying to pull of the Socialite profile there, but failed. I went at the request of on of my friends Stephanie (in the White Sox gear) and since I haven't hanged out with her in a bit figured it would be good to for a change of pace. Saturday night comes with a multitude of debochary in the form of me making my way to 2 VIP parties. One was for a co-worker of mine whom promotes at a hot spot lounge call Filthy Libertine on Clyborne in Chicago. She was having her Birthday Party and the bottles were poppin' like a glock in a West Coast Rap Video. The second party was for another friend of mine whom graduated from DeVry University, by luck they were both being hosted at the same establishment so it meant good use of my drive time ( 0 miles ) between both spots. Again I'm getting my glass in a never ending flow of Barcardi Rum with Coke and Vodka Screwdrivers. Me and one of my best friends ended the night into Greek town to enjoy some 24 greasy spoon resturant to top off the nights enjoyment. Today (Sunday) was more on a normal scale as far as relaxing goes, nothing better then a lazy sunday watching the Chicago BEARS, even though they didn't pull off a win, and having some close friend close out thier weekend day along with you at Buffalo Wild Wings ( B-Dubs ). Nice flavorful wings with some beer and crazy coversation make up a successful wrap-up of a good weekend had by all. All I can say is what better way to start off the planning for the makings of a great time in St. Louis? Road Trip here I come!
