All I can say is it's about freakin' time this finally came around. I've been dealing with a lot the last couple of months, with the economy, work, and also plans I've been trying to put into motion for 2009. So far, things could be better, but they could also be worse too. I've also want to quickly address the whole "no social networking for lent thing". I decided per my last blog post to keep this blog active still through out the whole time I go through lent. So far, so good. The best thing I can say is that for the first 3 days I've been wanting to check my social sites and have not been strong enough not to. The final result...I think I can do without the whole social-networking thing, it has so far given me some time to focus on other things. Aside from that, I really do miss using twitter a lot, but I can do without the whole MyFace-Spacebook thing. If anyone is reading this from the facebook world please note: I use the notes app to feed my blog to facebook, I did not post to facebook, so I am not cheating my lent promise. Yes the time if finally here! I'll be heading out to the city of sin for a long deserved break. We all know the formalities with this, what happens in Vegas, stays there...
However, I am a true advocate of making the most of ever opportunity, so we'll see what makes it and what doesn't....LOLZ FTW!
